खबर आई है कि एक बार फिर अंडरवर्लड डॉन दाऊद इब्राहिम की संपत्ति की नीलामी होने जा रही है। बीते 16 सालों में दाऊद की संपत्ति की ये चौथी बार नीलामी हो रही है। मैं इससे पहले दाऊद की संपत्तियों की 3 नीलामियां कवर कर चुका हूं और मेरा मानना है कि ऐसी नीलामी एक ड्रामे से ज्यादा कुछ नहीं होती। साल 2000 में सबसे पहली बार नीलामी कोलाबा इलाके के इस होटल डिप्लोमैट में हुई थी...लेकिन तब किसी की हिम्मत नहीं हुई कि वो डॉन की संपत्ति पर बोली लगाये। उसके अगले साल 28 मार्च 2001 को दूसरी बार फिरसे नीलामी की गई जिसमें दिल्ली के शिवसैनिक अजय श्रीवास्तव ने नागपाडा इलाके की जयराजभाई लेन में 2 दुकाने खरीदीं। उसी साल 20 सितंबर को फिरसे तीसरी नीलामी हुई। उस नीलामी में दिल्ली के ही एक व्यापारी पीयूष जैन ने दाऊद की ताडदेव इलाके की एक संपत्ति खरीदी। इन दोनो ही लोगों ने संपत्ति के पैसे तो चुका दिये लेकिन आज तक संपत्ति का कब्जा हासिल नहीं कर सके हैं। दिल्ली के शिवसैनिक अजय श्रीवास्तव पेशे से वकील हैं।1999 में श्रीवास्तव पहली बार तब चर्चा में आये थे जब उन्होने पाकिस्तान के साथ क्रिकेट मैच खेले जाने के वि...

मुंबई में हुआ आतंकी हमला भी नवंबर में हुआ था और पेरिस  में हुआ हमला भी नवंबर में हुआ है लेकिन महीने की समानता के अलावा अगर हम बारीकी से गौर करें तो पाएंगे कि पेरिस और मुंबई के हमलो के बीच करीब 7 समानताएं है। १)  Crowded Locations. पहली समानता यह है कि दोनों शहरों में आतंकियों ने भीड़ भाड़ वाले इलाको  को चुना था अपने टारगेट के तौर पैर।   मुंबई में हुए हमले का सबसे बड़ा टारगेट था CST  रेलवे स्टेशन जहां पर अजमल कसाब और उसके साथी इस्माइल  ने  ट्रेन पकड़ने के लिए आए मुसाफिरों  पर अंधाधुंध गोलियां बरसाई।   अकेले CST रेलवे स्टेशन पर ही 56 लोगों की मौत हो गई जिसमें रेलवे मुसाफिर भी थे और पुलिस कर्मचारी भी। २) Eating Places पेरिस  और मुंबई के हमलो के बीच दूसरी समानता ये है कि दोनों ही  हमलो में  खाने पीने के  रेस्टोरेंट्स को आतंकियों ने अपना निशाना बनाया जैसे कि मुंबई में उतरे आतंकियों के पहले गुट ने सबसे पहले कोलाबा इलाके के इस मशहूर लियोपोल्ड  कैफ़े में अंधाधुंध फायरिंग की जिस में की 11 लोग मारे गए। ३) Multiple Ta...

Although,  I wanted to write this blog earlier,  I was waiting for Chhota Rajan to be deported from Indonesia . I did not want to give any idea to his enemies on how easy it was to kill him in Bali . For 11 days that Chhota Rajan spent in the custody of Bali police he was a sitting duck for his adversaries. It would not have been a big challenge for the shooters of Chhota Shakeel to bump him off and I'm saying this on the basis of my observations during those 5 days which I had spent in Bali . There was absolutely nil security to him considering his stature in the underworld and the magnitude of threat to his life. Cops in Bali in general had no idea of how big Chhota Rajan was a criminal in India & this was reflected in the behaviour meted out to him by Bali cops. You must have read writeups on shocking similarities between Abraham Lincoln & J.F.Kennedy's assassinations. We have a similar story in India also, not related to murder of any politicians but of 2 young ladies in different parts of the country.Just viewed movie "Talwar" & the story made me compare Arushi Talwar's murder case with Mumbai's Sheena Bora murder case. I was following newsreports  of this case till few years back and "Talwar" helped me to get back on the chronology and do some supplementary reading on the case. Lancashire cops Graham Coates and Al Yusuf with an officer of Mumbai Police. Sheena Bora was killed in 2012 and her murder case got detected only 3 years later. One of the causes for this delay was the unprofessional conduct of Raigarh cops who did not investigate the case of unidentified dead body found in their jurisdiction. Although, the body which was recovered by them was burnt and concealed in a travelling bag, they skipped to register a murder case. Raigarh cops also didn’t care to collect the report from anatomy department of Sir.J.J.Hospital where the skeletal remains were sent. Such conduct of Raigarh cops is an example of how cops treat the cases of unidentified dead bodies reported to them. This case has reminded me of “Operation Complex” of UK police.
